Countable and uncountable nouns. Countable nouns are nouns that can be count. Apples, pencils, cars, children.... They take articles such as a or an . An apple, a pencil.... When asking we need to use.. How many ....? Uncountable nouns are nouns that cannot be count. Sugar, milk, water, oil, rice,.... They cannot take a or an. Some can be used. We have started learning about LIVING THINGS. What are living things? Living things are organisms that are born, grow, reproduce and die. Living things VITAL FUNCTIONS : NUTRITION, REPRODUCTION and INTERACTION. NUTRITION Living things need water, food and air in order to grow. They transform nutrients into energy in order to live. Animal nutrition -Carnivores: animals that eat only meat -Herbivores: animals that eat only plants -Omnivores: animals that eat both, plants and meat.
