Present Continuous

What is the present continuous?

The present continuous is an action we are doing now.

It´s formed with
                                     "To be" + verb-ing (Gerund)

Remember: "To be" = am, are, is

Example: S+"to be" + Gerund
                     I am playing
                     He is playing
                     We are playing

Here comes the Negative!

To make the negative we use the magic word "not."
It goes before the action verb.
Example: S+"to be" + not + Gerund
                     I am not playing
                     He is not playing
                     We are not playing
