Water Cycle. Nature Science 3rd grade JK

Our Earth is called blue planet

What is water?

Water is everywhere.
                Water is always moving.

Water can be liquid, for example, the river water.
Water can be solid, for example, snow.
Water can be gas, for example, vapor.

Water has no taste, no color and no smell.

Did you say water is always moving?
Well, this is what we know as water cycle.
Did you know that a dinosaur swims in the same water as you do now!

What is the water cycle?

The sun shines and heats the water and turns it into vapor.
This is called evaporation.

When the vapor cools downit becomes a cloud of tiny droplets.
This is called condensation.

Water droplets bang together and get bigger and bigger, falling to the land into rain, snow or hail.
This is called precipitation.

Water moves from the land to the sea, lakes and river.
This is called collection.

Now the water cycle begins again.
