We are starting our 7th unit of the year...  So far we have learnt about different landscapes we can find around us... click and learn,



Mountains
Valleys
Rivers
Waterfall
Lake
rocks
Hills
Snow at the peak of the mountain, listen for more landforms
Island
Sea and ocean
Volcano

And the use of the WH-Question; WHERE?
- Where is the snow?
The snow is on the peak of the mountain.
-Where can I see trees?
I can see trees in the forest
-Where can I swim?
I can swim in the river
-Where are the clouds?
Clouds are in the sky



Now we can think of different activities we can do in those places we have learnt.
- Walk in the forest
- Swim in the river, lake, sea...
- Climb up trees or mountains
- Sail on the lake

Remember to use TO after WANT, that is: WANT TO + Verb
I want to play football
She wants to sail on the lake
He wants to hike in the mountains
We want to  climb a tree.

 

Do you want to play tennis with me? yes I do
Does she want to sing ? No she doesn't

CAN and CAN'T
Affirmative: I can play


Negative: I can't play
She can't play

Question: Can you sing? yes, I can
Can he sing? no, he can't
