We have started a new unit: The city and its places and shops.
As
an introductory activity we had made a city with yogurt cups... we had a lot of fun and it came out pretty nice.
And some of the vocabulary words we need to know about city places...check them out. and more and more...we will learn them all, all, all.
We will focus on the following grammar structure.
Affirmative - Negative - Question
There is ...... there is not...there isn't......... Is there...? ---- for only 1
There are.... there are not...there aren't..... Are there..?-- for 2 or +
For example:
There are many bedrooms, there is a red cross, there are many doctors and nurses, what place is it?__________ click for the answer.

Taking these two boys as an example, here is the real story of the City Mouse and the Country Mouse, see the real tale.
We
have already learnt about many places in a city or town, such as: the
school, the library, the gym, the restaurants, the post office, the
bank, the church, the City Hall and Town Hall, the bakery, the butcher,
the sweet shop, the newspaper stall, the fruit shop, the supermarket,
the petrol station, the clothes shop, the pet shop, the chemist,...these ones and......and these ones, too.
After learning some of them...it is now time to show how well you know them.... ready to play??? after this game, I think you are ready to write them out, spell them right!!
